Quality! Affordable! On location!

Photography does not end with the shoot; the photographer may take 40-50 pictures in an hour's shoot, all of which must be edited, cropped, lighting adjusted, and retouched before they are given to the customer. This takes several hours of work in the studio. Not all of the 40-50 taken will be used; some will be discarded and only the best will be given for selection. Obscure Observations works very hard to shoot the best photos of you and devotes extra time to presenting you with the very best of those taken.
Corporate Portraits
$85.00 for session and the CD, On-location: includes transportation, set-up and equipment use and approximately one hour shooting time (following set-up) within the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Retakes are $45.00 per hour.
Online viewing of poses will be provided, from which you may choose your favorites. Photo will be retouched and put on a CD in the sizes requested to be utilized for uploading to your website or printable material. Copyright of the photos remains with Obscure Observations; however, they are considered your exclusive royalty-free photos to use for the period of three years. You may not assign those rights to anyone else. Additional CDs are $40.00.
If you require prints, a variety of portrait packages are available starting at $150.00, which includes the above on-location and CD charges. Call for package prices.

Family Casual Portraits
$150; On-location (your backyard; a nearby park; a park of your choice in another locale): includes travel within the Metropolitan area, set-up and one hour shoot and one 11x14 print. I bring backdrops and studio lights, if needed. Additional time charged at $40.00 per hour. Groups may include up to 15 people; 2 breakdowns and two outfits. Great portrait packages are available. For areas outside the Metropolital area, add $40.00.

Formal Family Portraits
$160.00, On-location (in your home): includes travel within the Metropolitan area, formal set up of backdrop and studio lights, and approximately one hour shoot and one 11x14 print. Additional time charged at $45.00 per hour. Groups may include up to 10 people, two breakdowns with two outfits. Great portrait packages are available. For areas outside the Metropolital area, add $40.00.

Fun Glam Portraits
$150; On-location (your backyard; a nearby park; a park of your choice in another locale): includes travel within the Metropolitan area, set-up and up to one and a half hours of shoot time. I bring backdrops and studio lights. You may have 2-3 breakdowns with 2-3 outfits. Price includes 4 glossy 5x7s or 2 8x10s, whichever fits your needs the best. Additional time is at $40.00 per hour. Additional pictures are available at very nominal prices. For areas outside the Metropolitan area, add $40.00.

Senior Citizen Portraits
$45.00, On-location (home or group home): Portraits may be of you alone or with your family. If you know when your family is coming to visit, call me to set up a shoot while they are there. Price includes one 8x10. Reasonable portrait packages available.

High School Senior or Dance Package
Senior portraits are provided for a $50.00 go-to fee, which includes an unlimited number of poses in a 1 hour shoot at home or an outdoor location, and a free 8x10 of your favorite pose.

Obscure Observations offers two "dance" packages which seniors often use for senior class pictures. Both are $40.00 with slight variations on the number of prints. You may select two of your favorite poses for these packages, in any combination. Additional photos are available at reasonable prices.

 Dance Delight 1: two 5x7s, six 4x6s, and eight wallets
 Dance Delight 2: two 5x7s, three 4x6s, and sixteen wallets

GRADUATION PACKAGES

Graduation Special: $65.00, On-location at school: includes ceremony shots receiving diploma, hat toss and follow-up candid shots with family and friends. Price includes four 5x7 prints of your choice.

Basic Graduation Package: $90.00: includes set up of studio lights and backdrop, one hour shoot, formal poses of student alone and with parents, in cap and gown and other attire; your choice of three poses comprising two 8x10s, four 5x7s, and eight wallets.

Grand Grad Package: $110.00: includes set up of studio lights and backdrop, one hour shoot, formal poses of student alone and with parents, in cap and gown and other attire; your choice of three poses comprising one 11x14, two 8x10s, two 5x7s, six 4x6s, and eight wallets.

I'm Just Staring Out (Portraits for the 20-25 year old):
$80.00; On-location at home or a place of your choice, includes travel within the Metropolitan area, set up and candid photography of one person with two breakdowns (changes) for one hour. Includes four 5x7 prints of your choice.

Additional photos available at very reasonable student discount prices.
